Welcome to Mr Suddick's class!

  

 

Hello! My name is Mr. Suddick and I have the pleasure of teaching Year 2 at Yohden. I’m committed to creating a classroom environment where curiosity is encouraged, effort is celebrated, and every child feels valued. I enjoy bringing lessons to life through creativity, challenge, and plenty of laughter along the way. It’s incredibly rewarding to see pupils develop their independence, confidence, and love of learning as they prepare for the next stage of their education.

PE days  

Our PE days are TBC, we wear black/blue shorts or trousers, a white t-shirt and trainers.  
Earrings need to be removed for safety or covered with tape.  

 

Home learning

We need to complete 15 minutes of numbots each week too.   This should be completed independently with minimal support and supervision.  

Reading is important and we must read at least 3 times per week at home with an adult. Adults need to write about how we read e.g was there a word we were stuck on, did we read fluently, did we understand the meaning of vocabulary, and could we answer questions about events and characters?                           

We bring reading books into school every day to help us with our reading.
