How children with SEN engage in all activities?

At Yohden Primary School we are committed to equality. We aim for every pupil to fulfil their potential no matter what their needs. We understand that children learn and develop in different ways. All staff recognise this and use different teaching styles and resources to support learning.

In addition to this, teachers plan different levels of work in the classroom to cater for the various ways in which children learn. However, many children, at some time in their school life, need extra help. At Yohden Primary School we are committed to supporting children with SEND.

  • Ensure that all children with SEND are fully included in all activities of the school in order to promote the highest levels of achievement.
  • Ensure that all pupils have access to the full school curriculum and all school activities.
  • Ensure every child has the entitlement to a sense of achievement.
