Years 5 and 6 enjoyed attending a meccano after school club, where they were given the opportunity to design and make models for a young engineers competition.
The children had six weeks to work on their models, before taking them to Shildon Railway Museum to be judged.
The children worked extremely hard and thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the railway museum. Tony Di Mascio and Dawson Dellar from year 5 were awarded a prize for their own tank design.
